Dinosaur Art Gallery!

Richard Jones, producer of the Gary and Eric dinosaur shows, is at it again on Kickstarter, trying to drum up funds for an online art gallery for dinosaur art! Featured artists at the moment were both involved in the old dinosaur shows: namely William Stout (http://www.williamstout.com/) and Charles Chiodo (http://www.chiodobros.com/).

If you watched any of the old Eric and Gary dino shows, you should instantly recognize William Stout's bright, vibrant, comic-book-esque dinosaurs that were part of his '80s 'The Dinosaurs: A Fantastic View of a Lost Era'.  This book has been updated in the years since as "The New Dinosaurs" featuring newer artwork and dinosaur revisions as our understand of dinosaurs changes.

Charles Chiodo, of the Chiodo Bros. also did various dinosaur artwork for the Gary and Eric dinosaur shows (among other dino shows!), and also had a hand in creating the various stop motion and puppet creations that Gary and Eric interacted with.

The DVD has arrived! It contains the shows "Dinosaurs Dinosaurs Dinosaurs," "Prehistoric World," and "The Wonderous World of Weird Animals"! You can also see me in the bonus feature "Dinosaurs Then & Now," where we toured the various places filmed for the Dinosaur shows all over L.A.

Also included on the DVD are the bonus features of "The Dinosnore," which has clips from Return of Dinosaurs (something more than a few of your had asked me about), as well clips from the Gary and Eric special on Ray Harryhausen, along with some good ol' Dino Bloopers.

Dinosaur Tour: COMPLETED

Hey guys, got back from the Dino tour with Eric and crew last week, and while I'll get some photos up here eventually, I've made this in the meantime. For those of you who couldn't go on the tour, don't worry, because I've condensed the entire thing into 1 minute for your viewing pleasure! So be sure to watch it about 720 times to get the full tour experience!

Well, the Kickstarter campaign was a success! Thanks to all the fans out there who helped complete the Gary and Eric dinosaur documentary package, and especially those of you who joined me in the grand tour! Over time I'll have more Gary and Eric stuff to show you, so stay tuned to this blog for more exciting videos and images.

Here is some raw footage of Gary and Eric at Knotts Berry Farm, on their now defunct ride, Kingdom of the Dinosaurs (1987-2004). This was shot for Son of Dinosaurs, and you may recognize some of the cuts, only now you can hear Richard Jones in the background!
